PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
- House Wash: Depending on the quality of your exterior water source, light water spotting may appear on windows after a house wash (our gloss enhanced surface protectant is designed to help minimize this possibility). Small black dots on vinyl siding near mulch beds is typically shotgun mold (also known as artillery mold) and may not come off with house pressure washing. Aluminum siding and gutters that have marks due to oxidation will not come off in the washing process. Aluminum siding may also “chalk” or “bleed” when washed depending on the age and quality of the siding and whether it has been recently painted. Results will vary.
- Roof Treatment: Our roof treatment service does not include the removal of debris that may be sitting on the roof (i.e., sticks, leaves, etc.). Although any green moss on the roof will be treated and killed (it will turn white or brown), the actual growth will not be removed with the roof treatment process. Dead moss should dry out and gradually come off naturally over time. Roof marks associated with shingle wear or industrial fallouts will not come off with the roof treatment. Although the house siding and windows are thoroughly rinsed in the roof treatment process, run-off from the roof that occurs after the service has been performed can sometimes cause streaking of the windows. This streaking from the roof run-off can be manually removed by wiping the windows with a micro-fiber towel and window cleaning solution. The roof treatment cleanser is designed to gradually flow down the roof and into your gutter system. Gutters that are full of debris or that have gutter guards/covers may cause some of the solution to overspill the gutters which can lead to a streaking of the gutters. Mild plant burnout is also possible wherever the cleanser is dripping over the gutters. Burnout of plants and grass may also occur wherever there are downspouts that empty above ground into the yard or flower beds. Plant burnout is usually not permanent.
- Moss Removal: Moss is manually removed from shingles only after it has been treated and exterminated. The moss removal process is gentle and will not damage shingles. Shingles that have been compromised from moss growth may be brittle and cracked. Pristine Clean is not responsible for damage to shingles that has been caused by moss but which may not be visible until the moss is manually removed.
- Roof Renew: This service is designed to replace the oils that have been lost in existing shingles. It will not repair or restore shingles that are cracked, chipped, curled, or bent. The shingle rejuvenator is also not designed to fix holes or cracks in the roof. Pristine Clean is not responsible or liable for any preexisting defects on the roof or shingles that would cause the rejuvenator to leak into the house. Overspray of the rejuvenator is possible during application. The product is entirely eco-friendly; is safe for people, pets, and plants; and will not harm or damage any surfaces on the exterior of the home or property.
- Concrete Wash/Seal: Some marks on concrete such as organic marks (especially from foliage), rust, and oil may not come off in the washing process. Many such marks are deep within the substrate or have dyed the concrete and will only fade away with time. Concrete that is located around a pool is carefully washed so a minimal amount of dirt and sand is washed into the pool however it is impossible to keep everything from entering the pool. Concrete that has been previously sealed with an acrylic, oil-based, or membrane sealer or that has had an improper application of a cure and seal may reveal directional lines and/or a spotty or uneven finish. The uneven finish should fade with time. Our concrete sealer is a deep penetrating, siloxane, water-based sealer that gets absorbed into the concrete. The sealant will not permanently change the appearance of the concrete. Concrete that has been previously sealed with a surface dwelling or acrylic sealant may appear blotchy or inconsistent after the application of our sealant. The blotchy finish will fade over time. The water pressure used in the washing service is appropriate for concrete and is not strong enough to crack, pit, or chip normal concrete. Any cracking, chipping, or pitting that may occur during the washing process will be due to preexisting defects in the concrete and not to the washing process. Pristine Clean is not responsible for damages to concrete that result from washing concrete that is defective or compromised. Because new concrete (under 2 years old) should not be pressure washed, we do not use our walk behind surface washers in the New Concrete Wash and Seal service. The light detergent wash performed on newer concrete is designed to prep the concrete for the application of sealant and may not remove surface marks and stains. Please wait 5 hours before driving on the concrete, and 10 hours before parking on it.
- Patio Paver Wash: The pressure washing process may remove some or all of the joint sand. Re-application of sand may be needed. Paver patios that are located around a pool is carefully washed so a minimal amount of dirt and sand is washed into the pool however it is impossible to keep everything from entering the pool.
IMPORTANT
There are some surface marks that simply do not come off in the pressure washing process. Because of this, results will vary. Pristine Clean invests a large amount of resources and training to provide professional equipment and effective processes. Although we cannot guarantee results, we work hard for the satisfaction of each customer. Pristine Clean is not responsible for damages during the washing process that result from preexisting defaults or damages to the surfaces being washed such as, but not limited to, compromised concrete, a leaky roof, faulty siding, or defective deck boards. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all windows, doors, and exterior fixtures on the house are properly waterproofed prior to the date of service. Pristine Clean is not liable for damages related to preexisting plumbing issues (including burst or leaking pipes and broken spigots), faulty electrical systems on the exterior of the home such as improper or improperly wired external electrical outlets or faulty outlet weather/bubble covers, or for the failure of other exterior waterproofing related to the foundation or exterior home devices (such as security cameras).
